Is there anything we can do about them spamming the showcase? I don't even care about them doing it anywhere else in the forum it's just that new topics and topics with like 1 reply are getting pushed off the first page because all these people do is open up 25 threads (most of them old topics) and go "yeah like it" or "dont like it".

yea we have been discussing this in the staff forum too, new mesures are being implimented to fix this asap

yeah, solutions are being discussed in the staff area as we speak, we really want to avoid people like that joining up.

in the meantime, the best way to negate their effect is to keep replying to threads that want/need attention, and keep them on the top of the list.

i'll pitch in and do my best to help with that .

They can't access the resources until they've been a member for at least a day and made 25 posts so that gives us time to remove span/ban them. More precautions will be taken with time.

Heres a suggestion: Topics with no new posts within the last month get auto-closed, so at least its not ancients topics getting brought back.
