like the idea of the forum and communicating with another great artist

i really want to know from the experience of most of u : when u started into design and art with softwares did u sat and experimenting the software ur self or u found a tuts website and follow them .

am using PS BTW

In my experience mixing up both methods is best. I like to go through tutorial to get me started fast but then afterwards, I do a lot of experimenting to see how I can use techniques presented in tutorial to achieve different results.
