It would be great if I could get some feedback on this piece I've been working on. Its not quite finished yet and have a feeling its running away from me!

i think it needs some flecks of bright color just to give it a bit of pzazz. i know it's a dark piece (palette and feeling wise) but it needs something to make it pop a little more.

the composition seems a bit off, too much black on the bottom and the girl isn't centered.

i think it works that the girl isn't centered. if you look at the look on her face she's obviously distressed and sort of shrinking away from the viewer, so it makes sense that she'd be in the corner of the frame rather than the center. but yeah it is too dark

Thanks for the feedback neil_akoga and ev4n I really appreciate your comments. The composition just isn't working and it's much too dark. I'm going to take a break from it for a few days and then rework - I'll repost my efforts. cheers

wow this is a great piece, great mood, but the foreground blends with background and destroys the depth of field. i'd suggest revisiting that

Fantastic! Love the highlights effects! I only suggest to you to don't crop the girl's head. Give it a try!

It looks like you overused the topaz filter, makes it look all plasticy.
