well i finally got my dam scanner to work (on prevail of almost wat felt as much as a day) so i started scanning me doodles inside and posting them. they are all graf ideas so dont ask but ya. tell me watcha think. no color versions yet. prolly gona make some golor versions of later versions:

if anyone wants to take them and color them be my guest seeing as im still learning how to color and outline (without illustrator or a tablet yet) which makes my outlines apear really crisp and undulating... if anyone could help me to figure out how i could do outlining of good illustration such as those on this guys page:

the tutorial you linked on your post is good, but if you don't have illustrator it really doesn't help you. you could try to color it in photoshop, draw your outlines with the pen tool in photoshop and you can then apply a stroke to the pen path. you can also draw shapes with the pen tool and fill them in with color and use that for the fill and the shadows.
