Thank you for the "welcome"! Your art is the wonderful! And your word so important for me!
Hey bro, i've started our collab. I made a few rush and it's going great. Just contact me on MSN or Skype. Didnt see you since 2-3 days.
Hope everything is fine.
brilliant artwork man! keep it up! and grats for your new purple star! ![]()
yea I will spend 30-70hours on any of my pieces.
-I eventually learned to have more patience with my work...its important. And also spreading out the time you spend on a piece....some ppl try to cram a piece in one day...finish it in 6hours because they can't be excited to work on it the next day...it's like they only have an adrenaline rush of m...
yes lighting on the major structures definitely needs work...somehow the lighting on the right building structures is non-existent when there clearly should be some light reflected.
Also if your going to have silhouettes on objects in the foreground...the contrast on the water would be much much stronger. And judging by the obvious location of the light source, and that light reaches these points, in a realistic setting with realistic contrast, etc, there would be no silhouette like you have now...maybe if the sun was just nearly setting at the horizon there would be a silhouette, and these structures were lower than the point where light can reach, then there may be a silhouette.
But if you are going for some exaggerations of course, then you would need to fix other components of the piece to make it work; like you have more lighting on the structures on the right, but they also have more detail compared to the structures in the foreground
Edit: but yea man...better than anything I can make in 3-4hours

Will try to provide some critique:
1. Buildings and rocks in central part and some on BG looking a bit flat, I mean "thin". Can be fixed by adding "fatter" edges I guess.
2. I think there must be more play of light on edges of silhouettes from sun. On man, rocks ect.
3.The whole picture is a bit unbalanced in terms of nature of objects it's consists of. This is gonna be hard for me to explain but I'll try. This guy feels like from one picture, water feels like from another picture, sky from somewhere else, and same to "cave exits" to the right. So looking at picture as whole is cool, but looking on any of those two same time kinda breaks magic for me.I was going to say that but myaka beat me to it
sure............ haha
