A little bit about Mono:
The focus of my work is the landscape & seascapes of Scotland, predominantly shot in black & white. Photographing often deserted stretches of coastline creates an amazing sense of peace and isolation that I try to get across in my images, with nothing but the camera and the vast endless ocean for company. I love being able to almost control the ocean through the lens, turning a choppy tide into a calm silky wash using long exposure. It is this that provides my constant inspiration and keeps drawing me back to the sea. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MONOPHOTOGRAPHY.CO.UK ----------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All turned out very well in the end, fine job folks. The display for the big collab is very effective, particularly how the letter and artist's name appears when you hover over the artworks. Pleased to see agiaco's photo forming the mini banner, a historic first for slashthree I believe smile

Seemed a long time coming but very good release. Congrats Gloom, and also to the photographers who have all done a great job I think, the quality is definitely improving.

Yep it has turned out really well in the end, a testament to the effort and imagination of the artists. A thoroughly deserved feature on Neil, such an outstanding artist and an interesting interview to boot. Delighted to get my own shot featured too, I doubted I'd be able to do much at all with the theme so to end up featured for the 3rd pack runni...

An album covers theme would be fun smile

Excellent pack, what started as quite an awkward theme to create for (particularly in the photography side of things) ended up being something magical smile

Hello to you on December 12, 2008 9:12:16 AM

Greetings, I was invited to join slashTHREE by Cl3tuS, so here I am. Seems like a really interesting site with plenty of great artwork, hopefully I'll get involved once I have my bearings around the site. I'll have a bit of a browse now and see what's what.

Cheers, Donald.

You mean like instant messaging? Never had any interest in stuff like that, emails and private messages have always worked for me smile If it became crucial for this "job" I might look into it smile

Thanks I'll try, same to you smile
