yooo its ben ... decided to sign up, even without talent for this type of art.
hey were you still working on that piece that was just recently accepted?
hey so yeah..i'm downstairs in powwel, if your upstairs i'd love to check out some of your work
yeah man...hey i still need to see some of your work!
nice work! have you thought about reducing the moons size and making it closer to the left side of the earth since that is where the brightest light source is coming from and the moon's shadow is on the left side? and you could maybe have some of the strands of lights go around it.
really nice colors. for the fire one you could use the pen tool or filter>liquify>twirl and see if you could make the side of his rib cage a fire effect. just to break up that strong bright line of the side of him. if you know what i am talking about with the pen and liquify tools then do that with other parts of the body as well to sell the fac...
these look pretty good. you could try playing around with the brightness/contrast of the people to make them pop more. besides the 4th one down, the gradient colors seem to be to visible over the faces of the subject. i don't know, just a thought. keep it up!
i agree with lawlhalla about the reflection. i wouldn't put the same image of the bird in there twice. maybe try playing with more vibrant colors to make it pop. are you planing on doing anything with the white dashed lines?
for the triangle work, i would fade them as they go back further because they are all completely black which doesn't sell to the viewer that they are at different depths of field. also add a texture on the right side of all of them since the light source is coming from the right side.
