slashTHREE Major Updates March 08, 2008 5:07:16 PM

Well slashTHREE members, it's time to get you wired up on the latest news from slashTHREE.com!

Over the past few months, we've been quite dormant with our public activity. Well, it's time to let you in on what we've been working on all this time. During our 'dormant' stage, we discretely, have been working on a project of epic proportions (well, compared to what we have now!). As many of you may recall, a while back slashTHREE released an announcement entitled 'Sherman Turnip Vasilis III and slashTHREE'. Along with this news update, we included a riddle. We received quite a few guesses as to what the code title/story was suggesting, and we're finally about to spill the beans! But before we make it too obvious let's take a look at the abbreviation of the title. STV3 & ST... seem familiar? slashTHREE V3? No... but wait, could it be? Could it be that all this time we've been working on a new version of the site? Well, we're excited to say that after all of the frustration and back-breaking work, yes, slashTHREE has a new version. This is also aptly named 'slashTHREE v3' and might I say, this name seems fitting. Keep your finger on that refresh button because any moment now you will notice a brand new shiny look on that website you wake up just to go check. Now I'm trying my best to not sound so arrogant here but I can safely say (and assume you believe the same way) that slashTHREE is most likely the best invention of all time. But you may be saying "But slashTHREE Announcement Writer, I love to drive my car so much, it brings me more joy than slashTHREE could have ever done for me!" But this my friend, is sadly where you are mistaken. Either driving is made more enjoyable by slashTHREE and knowing in your heart that you belong to this massive empire or just because the newest release will blow you away.

OH! Be sure to keep a lookout for any new changes on slashTHREE.com. You never know what sort of celebration goodies we may leave lying around the forums and site!

Please post any questions, comments, or suggestions for the new version in this thread!

P.S.: We're also looking for new site moderators (not just forum) for the new version, so if you're interested post on the forums and show us you're deserving of the job!

Thank you,

slashTHREE Public Relations Committee
