I was wondering how long people generally spend on a piece of artwork that you would consider your best or highest standard?

Hey, I'm new here so go easy on me...!
My last piece took 6 1/2 hours to complete, but generally I spend sometimes up to 10 hours, depending if I'm using stock renders or starting from scratch.
My averages tend to be:
Photoshop ONLY: 1-4 HOURS
3DSMAX/CINEMA 4D ONLY: UP TO 4 HOURS
BOTH: ANYTHING UPTO OR OVER 10 HOURS

depends on what you're trying to do actually.

Could you tell me how long is a piece of string instead ![]()
I appreciate it varies, just meant for whatever your typical style may be.

Think i normaly spend around a week or something to finish my piece. Sometimes longer, when im lucky i need less time. Most part of it is just by looking at it tho just to make sure im doing the right things and trying to see how to continue the piece.
