Latest concepts. [First posts on S3]
If I could get some feed back on the following concepts that would be great.

concepts? are they still WIP? because they sure need a load of work if you want a great piece. Atm they do nothing for me. Maybe make the 2nd's background an organic blood place like inside of a stomach. and yeah, effects, depth lighting all need work. for the first make the render stand out more, but i think i would scrap the idea cause theres not really a meaning to it.

There just concepts floating around, I want to start with the base idea then progress into a full piece of work...thanks for the feedback tho!
I'll keep in mind what you have said and see what the next outcome will be like, as of the first piece it is meant to be seen as a passtho and not so in your face as most abstract renders "normally/should" be. The meaning behind it is personal & I guess no one will get it, but this is how
I like my work to be...personal to myself.

if these are just concepts, why did you make prints of them ?
why make prints of them anyways. i dont recon people buy your work yet if you push it so ?

A friend asked for the print of the first one...so I simple put it up.
I'm actually quite lucky as selling prints as it goes, alot of my friends buy small version of them or I design flyers alot for the Broken beat/Drum & bass nights we run. Also I work as a designer, but it's boring corp webstuff in the office

That's a nice idea, I'll have a play with it again...as for the background I really don't know what to do with that as of yet.

could be, but
1 : its still only a concept, and not a finished print piece.
2: da prints service totally SUCKS.
3: if you do corp work already, you're bound to have connection to a print service.
4: i'm doing prints at home, with a 30$ printer and it works perfectly. try it, its soooooo much better vs DA printing ( doesn't beat a professional print service ofcourse though).
ok i'm already straying off topic, so i'll keep it at that.

The stuff you have posted has been done a million times. The pieces have no wow factor and I see no conceptual theme behind either of them. They look nice though.

Thanks for the feedback, I don't know where to start lately I keep looking at what got me started in photoshop and to be honest it was the first couple of packs from Depthcore and viewing Attik's Noise 4 book. Thats why there just concepts more than finished pieces of work.
I'm hoping with help of slashTHREE's forum and user's I can find a style which people enjoy looking at time & time again.

I can say from my own personal experience, when you quit designing for an extended period of time. You remove yourself from the loop and it is really hard to get back into it. Unless you just continuously practice various techniques and let your imagination run wild.

i've never saw a print as bad as that. EVER.
could be i got a wrong one, but i heard it from other people too.
