Gift for Logix

Well since most of you said I should make my tags a bit less messy... I decided to do this:

About two hours of pen tooling and what not, still new at it...

CnC, and enjoy Logix

Re: Gift for Logix

Can I suggest one thing, learn composition before you start trying to get into advanced effects. The piece has no focal point and your pen tool shapes are all blended weird. Do you think it really looks like you put your best effort into it? Because I don't

Re: Gift for Logix

burn.

i think over the image looks pretty good, i like the way you did the bottom stair. My biggest issue here is that the vector work looks like it was just placed on-top of the picture (around the hand and elbow) maybe try blending a bit more around the person.

the least you can do is give him some tips as he requested and he did say he is just a beginner in design , way to push a young one off a bike
when is one training wheels.

and as for the design its show potential but is missing a few elements due to the fear of you over doing it , that being said make your effects alittle heavier and more visible  and in this picture try to make most of the focus on the girl.

in the mean time keep up the good work champ
and don't give up

Re: Gift for Logix

if you did all of the shapes by hand then nice work, but as de7h said you still need to know the basics, composition is a HUGE part of your piece, if you can't get that right nothing will ever look amazing, if you have that kind of ability to draw all of that out then de7h was right you can do alot better than this, give it some time and learn the basics then move up from there.

Re: Gift for Logix

Nice. Could have been better if there were floral brushes, screened colours, and clipping masks on both sides.
