Re: First Typography

Cool!
Not sure if it should be vertically centered, maybe you should move it down a bit?

Re: First Typography

Do you mean the whole thing or the "take care" part?

Re: First Typography

Re: First Typography

Oh. Basically move everything a little bit to the bottom right. I'll edit it and see what it would look like. Thanks for the comments.

Re: First Typography

Typeface as in font? It's called birth of a hero. What do you mean by distressed?

Re: First Typography

Looks alright. You have uneven kerning between a lot of letters. For example the Q & U are way too close relative to the rest of the text. Also, I'm not totally sure what order I'm supposed to read everything in, so maybe arrange it in such a way that it's easier to read. Oh and maybe use a clean version of the typeface? If you wanna distress it, best results always come from doing it by hand

There is a version of the Avant Garde font that looks like this without being distorted.

Oh. I get what you mean. It's supposed to not really make sense but make sense if that isn't confusing. But i'll work  on the rest.

Re: First Typography

Agree with moving the text and using differnt styles of font. Alternate sizing throught the piece.

Re: First Typography

The paper texture that the piece was based on isn't appealing to the eye and doesn't do it justice along with that the colors and font can be worked upon. Overall if more time was spent on this piece than it could of been so much better than what it is now.

Re: First Typography

Not liking this, maybe if you made the text actually look like it was on the paper you would get a different feeling.
