Since it is an artists community, I'm thinking on sharing some compositions rules. We all can share on this topic.
I was thinking for the following subjects (visual with examples):
- the rule of thirds
- the rule of three
- linear and aerial perspective
- types of compositions (classificarions)
- things to avoid in a composition
More can be added, but these came into my mind for the moment.
First, I want a feedback from you, coz if you are not interested, I don't want to waste my thime for nothing (I'm sure u understand).
Second, please heva patience, coz next week I'll be on vacantion, but of course you can start it already. ![]()
cheers

Yes thank you.
Every cooperation on this would be more than welcomd, but we have to organiza it a bit so the subjects treated won't be mixed and therefor harder to understand.
So I want for this the admins or anyone from the staff how has a little time to try to make some posting rules of different topics or any advice would be great.
Can't wait to start on htis one. ![]()
cheers

well still waiting for admins/staff support on this one with proposals on the structure of the lessons coz the lessons sould be easy to find and follow and in a practical order otherwise they will be lost among other comments and remarks.

an easy way to do this, would be to link to the post number in your main topic.
i'll be glad to stick the topic, and also a 'discussion' topic for the 'art school' if you will, and make sure that any nonsense posts in the main lessons topic are purged and either moved or deleted.
i think this is really good - especially if we go outside of just composition, into technique and stuff.... you're onto something here man, you've got MY full support that's for sure (Y)

i'll handle everything to do with it, lads.
PM me everything you want done and i'll do it. i'm presuming you'll go ahead and make an index and discussion topics.
alternatively, i can do all of that for you guys, and you can pretty much take over - i'm very responsive and i'll most certainly reply to all your PM's and do all the work you lads need.
let me know. jimbo, if you wanna talk it out on msn and we'll sort something i'm sure bechira won't mind ![]()

k then let's start with the first one and lets do them one by one.
so the first lesson it will be:
- the rule of thirds
I propose to write and share on mess or email. when all the info is gathered together from all users who wants to participate with usefull infos, only after this make a post with all the infos.
we will have a deadline also: 18 oct sounds ok? ![]()

same. not some shitty tutorial linkage. but an actual written knowledge base on various subjects would be a great help to many people.
