idiotic question

Ok I know this question is going to sound stupid but I need to know how to make a zip file for a psd. I have never done it before because I never had a reason, but no I have a reason and need to know. I feel dumb for even having to ask, but I figured the best people to ask would be you guys.  So if any one could be kind enough to let me know how to do this i would greatly appreciate it. ( I hope this was the right section to put this question in.)
