yes, generally you will get a message.
the reason that you haven't heard anything is that your application is still open to be voted upon.

You can't, that's why you should make sure you picked your best before you apply.

You're choosing your 3 very best works and tell the reason why you want to join, then your app will be posted and you will receive a message when it is finished.
Yes. Your application goes through a reviewing process where it is determined whether or not your works are ready to be included in the artpacks. After that process, you will receive your message, and if you're in, then you start contributing art to the collections.
