I've been working on this piece on and off for a while now because I'm not sure how to improve on it. Earlier I almost considered it finished but the colors seemed not interesting enough, though when I experimented they didn't look that great... If anyone can help give me feedback on this piece it would be much appreciated, thanks!

Sharpen, high pass. Overlay. Then it'd look amazing.

But, you could maybe darken more around the black side of the planetso it doesn't look slightly 2d.

Thanks for the feedback! I tried out the highpass/overlay and I gotta say it looks good - better contrast.

As for the planet, I'll have to come back to the piece later and see if I notice it more; it doesn't seem to be standing out too too bad but I need to view it in fresh eyes.
