It aint bad. The smudge behind the planet kinda kills it for me. Theres so much more you could do to this

What do you mean by smudge? I didn't use smudge for this, and why would I use smudge on an originally 3000 pixels or so image?

nice atmo out there broh....cant figure it but i think the rock formations @ the lower left portions lacks depth, liked high lights from the source to add definitions &  exaggerate depth in the foreground. middle & back ground...coz you have an intense high lights in your focal w/c is the planet & no other HL in your adjacent rocks formation...other than that i think your piece is great...keep up broh!!wink

Yeah the lighting is kinda off on the asteroids but meh, better luck next time eh?

This looks like a great start. My advice would be to work on the lighting and make it more dynamic and not so white. You also might add in a few astroids or a planet up close with a blur for some depth.
