okay - i don't know about doing good photography but this looks too dark for me - maybe needs some light onto the face ? I really don't know how to do it better but now looks quite good. Maybe this should be lightened by more warm light (orange) etc.

they look way too sharp, it's almost like you've saved them at a lower quality or done some kinda blur on the background and a sharpen on her face, also some of them make the skin on her face look yellow compared to her arms. basically they look edited (if that makes sense)

The blur you usually see with cameras seems like it blurred the background then sharpened it in certain areas. Some of them seem way too sharp like akoga said. I honestly like all of them though, just some minor things.

I dunno what it is but that blur just looks out of place in every picture.. Its like a weird blur, not the one normaly seen in pictures. They look nice though.

I do not think you need flashes for 'the artificial light source'. Model shoots can easily be done with
normal light sources from the sun.
As for the pictures, they're not bad but agree to what the others said about bokeh

these would be so much better if they were uploaded to flickr. flickr will sharpen your photos, which is why the blur in the background is so sharp as well as the face! so yes i agree that these pictures dont look all that good, but i feel like they would be fine if you just uploaded to a regular picture upload website which wouldnt edit the pictures
