i dont think battles is a good idea, the idea of battles ruins the whole point of a comp in my opinion, should be for learning purposes only i thinkz 
but i dont know how active it will be if there is specific categories, like photography, photomanip etc.. im not sure, would be cool to see!!

Would be great. Artist judging C&C and voting as we do with applications, on comp pieces. Really grat idea to boost activity on website of normal users, and artists too .

Yeah, we should definitely look into this. Someone see if they can get Street or Scotty interested enough. This would definitely spark interest and increase activity, people would be like, "slashTHREE Competitions, what?!?" Let's get this moving!

From what I understand it's not very easy if you want this stuff to be on the front page.. It would require coding and coding is always a pain in the d*ck. Might be a neat idea to just have a forum section for it. I really wouldn't like to see this place become another Konvulse though..

Competitions are a good way to attract more members and increase activity. Like on National Sig League they now have a $300 tourney coming up and they've got all those old people coming back and new people coming in..
Might be worth doing something similar

Yeah, most likely we would go with AOTM or AOTF (Art of the Month or Art of the Fortnight), as we are mostly LP artists.
