wow in the end comes down to all a time waster

Pick Oblivion.

i played wow for a couple of months,
its a great game, but i dont play it anymore
id rather spent my time on forums and designing things now

Played it for a couple of months or so, but there's things I'd rather do.

It's a good game, but you can easily get addicted. I didn't, but my friend did, and a year on, still is.

only buy WoW if you have friends that play it

Im not gonna say age of conan, cause i dont want noobies running thru my screen k.

World of Warcraft is a decent game to be honest, if you have a good job that can support the money needed to dish out on it.  As well as some major free time.  Basically the game is super deep, and there is alot of grinding in the game, which means constand gameplay.  It will basically suck up your life.

I would suggest GuildWars if you are more of a casual gamer.  Its quick to get into after you learn several things and the gameplay, although not extremely deep can get quite creative, ecspecially if you start to focus on the Player Versus Player side of things.  You can spend alot of time on this game, but you can also set it down for along time and pick it right back up.  Plsu, the team gameplay is very fun, so make sure to make friends.

Also, in the future, GuildWars 2 will be out, and althoguh not a ton of information has been let out, this is sure to be another amazing game.  Also, around 2010, Diablo 3 will be coming out, if you haven't looked into that I would highly suggest doing some research.  It is sure to be an outright amazing game.  The gameplay looks great and the graphics are stunning.  Plus if it live up to the Diablo name, it has to be good.

Wow's cool imo but yea a bit time consuming, used to hate the game, purely because of the fact that u pay monthly for it.

Then loads of my gaming mates left to play it, left me with not much choice to play it or be bored Played it and after a while loved it. Then got addicted

Not playing as much now tho, trying to swap the time that i would have been playing wow into time designing It's a little bit more productive and rewarding

i'm playing wow. full geared.  been played for 3 years. as long as u can take it moderately everything are great. i got lots friends there OTHER than DESIGN + ART + ADVERTISING friends which is cool. and at the end some of them becoming one f my biggest client ever had. If you ever wondered, my guild consists of those bosses, managers of multinational company here. I play 3x a week for (Raids).

It;s worth a buy if you feel that u can manage urself out. But be prepare yourself. just make sure you know what to do there.
Well, i don't why most people say WoW = No Life, i learnt how to socialize here with people other than people like me, teamwork, patient, etc. We definitely have life and its very very very good. Me and my guild are also playing another games, hangin out for clubbin, meet my old friends from hi school, etcs...

At least this game is quite challenging than Hello Kitty Online.
