Help at work, asap

Hey all, I'm trying to create something with this effect. Big fan of the color palette and wispy flow,  if anyone has any ideas or tutorials that they could shoot my way it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Re: Help at work, asap

keep an eye on psdtuts.com...first runner up in the tutorial contest (http://psdtuts.com/news/psdtuts-first-t … t-winners/) made a tutorial on how to create a design similar to a nopattern favorite (http://www.nopattern.com/nopattern/proj … ject_ID=78). Should be up on PSDtuts soon...i bet that'll help you out! smile

Re: Help at work, asap

You could easily create this effect with a combination of Apophysis and Photoshop: Create a fractal-flame that is to your liking, render it in  a satisfactory resolution and use layers of vivid colors in Photoshop with blend-modes that fit your image.
Possibly add some vector-shapes (circles, etc.) and alter their opacity / blend-mode to top it off...

A simple way to dramatize your fractal-flames / final images: Duplicate the layer, use a Gaussian Blur and experiment with the blend-mode of the resulting layer.

(As you can see, in this case blend-modes are your friend smile)
