Jake,
thnx for your comments..  I'm glad you liked it and being a male and all.  I would have thought being in a cinema with THAT many girls would have been a thrill lol.  But heck .. school girls are giggly and 'omg isn't he hot'  .. type comments which I remember I used to make.

I'll have to imdb to see who Peter Facinelli is  from 6 Ft Under .. I have watched that series a few times but don't know the actors names but recognise them by face.

With regards to Edward being the best looking .. well .. it's not his looks that do it for me .. it's the character  .. what a girl wants kinda thing.  I think the other Cullen boys are better looking .

I like Jacobs character, how it's described in the book and who plays the character in the movie  .. in looks is ideal.

Oh you're in Melbourne .. I'm in Rockingham near Perth WA.

haha, believe me it was quite a thrill, since the group my friend's girlfriend hangs out with are all like... models. pretty epic! but yeah, all the applauses and shit at the main lines just made me want to set off a fart bomb or something.

yeah, the character of Edward's an awesome sort of character for that role, but that's really what all vampires are like. i can't even call the Cullens vampires, since reading up on vampire mythology for a school assignment a couple of years back and seeing just how savage they were... almost like incubi in the way they'd seduce someone just for a drink.

i personally preferred Jacob in some parts of the book. he brought a bright, happy twist to what was otherwise a really serious tale, which is always a sign of great writing ability.

yeah, i'm sitting through the smoke from the bushfires as we speak... hmm

Re: Twilight

All the vampire knowledge we have has gone out the window with the Cullens eh and also with the vampires in general .. since when do they glisten in the sun. Also what we learnt from Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Angel .
You should have set of a fart bomb .. that might have made the national news :p

You know you're right, Jacob did brighten it all up but I still liked it all serious.

Speaking of bushfires, have you seen that pathetic apology TMZ did for Sam the Koala video.  It made news.com.au
TMZ made a big mockery of Sam and David the guy who saved him and apologised but their video apology was still yet another mockery of things.   I don't think they realise the large scale of deaths and damage the fires have done and maybe think bush fire is one bush on fire  *rolls eyes*.
Hope your home is safe from it all  .. it's such a devastating thing to happen to everyone in the effected areas.
I read and saw the pics of two gorgeous sisters 21 & 22yo died together while trying to save their horses.   Just one of the many stories out there.  Very sad. sad

waiting for someone to make me one .. wink

Re: Twilight

bahahaha, a fart bomb would've made national news alright... and also it would have made me taboo to my friend's girlfriend's school! it was a risk i guess i wasn't too willing to take, ahahaha wink

the sam the koala video was just disgusting. i mean, yeah he's cute, yeah he got saved from the bushfire but it's just blatant exploitation of the whole situation and everything that's happened. my home's safe and fine from everything but the thick layer of smoke over the sky and stuff... really hard on the eyes and throat, it is hmm

there were a lot of horrible stories from the bushfires. my friend works at mcdonalds, and she heard so many of them sad

Re: Twilight

Imagine being a hairdresser .. . they generally get all the goss.

Back onto vampires.
I realised i bought book5 of Sookie Stackhouse series.  bugger.
AND now .. I've d/l ep 10 of True Blood (based on the books / Sookie Stackhouse series).  I've still got 1-9 to watch but don't get those from hubby until April when he's back.  I decided to watch ep 10 and it's great.. had me glued to the screen .. soooooo

True Blood tv series and Sookie Stackhouse books are my fad now. smile  That's life after Twilight lol.

You'll get a kick out of these books I think .. like the whole vampire thing has turned once again.  There's a synthetic blood made  so the vamps drink that .. and that also gets humans high kinda.  Oh and vampires are 'out of the closet' with humans but there are shapeshifters and werewolves  .. it's mad but good.

Oh and Sookie in the tv series

waiting for someone to make me one .. wink
